About HI Score

HI SCORE began as a single pinball machine in the garage of an arcade enthusiast. As other pinball and arcade devotees will undoubtedly understand, one machine soon became two… then two, three… and suddenly a whole collection had crowded out the cars and even begun moving into the guest rooms under the cover of darkness.

 

But no collector is happy until they can share their collection. Occasional home barbecues notwithstanding, our owner felt ultimately unfulfilled until he could open a venue for pinball and arcade minded folks to gather and celebrate the joy of the silver ball.

 

So, HI SCORE found its home in Sunset Plaza! Here, we hope to bring both new and old fans to discover– or rediscover– their love of pinball and classic arcade video games.

 

All the machines are owned and maintained by Chris, who constantly seeks to improve and enhance the experience for our guests.

 

Though currently the largest known collection of pinball machines available for public play in Hawaii, there is always room for a few more!  Check out our FAQs for the most up to date lineup.​
